Lincs Coast 10/07/13

A full day along the Lincs coast which, after hearing that the Bridled Tern had gone south through Flamborough, resulted in a few Lincs birders co-ordinating seawatches along the coast. The Bridled Tern wasn't reported again but the day list was respectable for Lincs in July. Covering three areas of the coast produced -  6 Manx Shearwaters, 6 Arctic Skuas, 3 Red-throated Divers, an impressive 1050 Common Scoter in one flock, 20+ Gannet, 7 Little Tern, 47 Sandwich Tern, Guillemot, 10 Black-tailed Godwit, 50 Golden Plover, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Hobby, 5 Peregrine, 2 Marsh Harrier & a Common Buzzard
