White-winger 28/12/16

Got a phone call this morning to say the Iceland Gull was back at the end of N Cleethorpes promenade so I shot straight there. Only 2 gulls at the end of the groyne when I arrived but thankfully the Iceland was one of them. My first ever Iceland Gull was also here and that will be 20 years ago next month - how time flies!

Aged as a 1CY bird by the dark iris and bill pattern.

I have a decent camera setup but freely admit photography and me just don't mix. No surprise then that I had the wrong settings on the camera when I took this shot. New Year's resolution - learn how to actually use a camera!
